So this means the Chinese Gender Prediction was right. But everything else was either inconclusive or wrong…including my own motherly intuition.

Thursday, October 1st, 2009I purchased the baby’ dresser!! At first I thought I was going to go with this one from Wal-mart. But then I found this one at JCPenney for only $189! I couldn’t pass up a price like that.
It’s not quite as nice as the Canopy one, but it’s $100 cheaper, smaller, and with some new knobs I think it’ll be great.
Of course as soon as it came in I had to put it together. I worked on it from 5:30 to 9:30 at night. At about 9:30 I thought I was done and proudly tried to put the first drawer in. But it wouldn’t fit! I tried several different angels and my husband tried brute force, but it was obvious something was wrong. I had a complete meltdown and wanted to cry. My bad luck with instructions had struck again! First the crib was missing a page of instructions. Now the dresser instructions told me to screw in all the rails UPSIDE DOWN!!! Once I read the JCPenney reviews of the dresser I realized everyone else had this problem as well. But after 2 days and much frustration the dresser did get assembled and I love it.
